After bursting onto the London food scene with her first pop-up on Commercial Street in 2020, to her unique Nyonya-style meal kits during lockdown, and later launching a market stall in Peckham, esteemed chef Abby Lee is now taking her modern Malaysian concept, Mambow, further east. Launched on 24th November, Mambow Clapton is Lee’s first permanent site; a bigger and more personal space that will allow the team to present a wider menu of regional Malaysian dishes, alongside her already popular cult-classics.
The adventure began in 2015 with Victor Lugger and Tigrane Seydoux, two French guys passionate about Italy and its welcoming vibe. They spent 2 years travelling across the boot sourcing the best products from Emilia to Puglia.
Since then, the crew has opened 22 trattorias in 5 countries and a 4,500 sqm food market - La Felicita in Paris, France. The two latest London openings, Jacuzzi on High Street Kensington and Carlotta on Marylebone Highstreet, have some of the group’s most impressive interiors and creative menus filled with seasonal produce and classic Italian recipes.
Big Mamma work directly with 170 producers in Italy and are constantly exploring new facets of Italian cooking from pizzas to Italian meats. Each trattoria has its own vibe, and everything is homemade: from the pasta fresca, to the fluffy Neapolitan pizza, and creamy gelato. The mission of this passionate team? To offer delicious, authentic and generous Italian food at affordable prices, served with a smile.
The Culpeper Family Hospitality Group is a group of four pubs and restaurants across East and North London – The Culpeper near Spitalfields, The Buxton on Brick Lane, The Duke of Cambridge in Islington and The Green in Clerkenwell.

Playfully named Fatt Pundit it’s a combination of the common Chinese surname ‘Fatt’ with the Indian word ‘Pundit’ (a scholar).
Keu Deli brings fresh and authentic Saigon street food to London via their delis in Soho, Shoreditch and The City.

Launching in Horsforth, Leeds in February 2024, neighbourhood bistro Bavette is the first venture from ex-Culpeper Group MD & Head Chef Sandy Jarvis and his husband, Restaurant Manager & sommelier Clément Cousin, formerly of Brawn and The Buxton. A true collaboration between front-of-house and kitchen, Bavette is born out of the desire of its passionate and experienced co-founders to share their love of restaurants and create a relaxed, convivial bistro where food and wine are of equal measure.
