Nuno Mendes’ Lisboeta – a restaurant capturing the essence of Lisbon within four walls and the renowned chef’s personal love letter to the city. Set over three floors of a charming Charlotte Street townhouse, the restaurant marries elements of the modern and traditional, brought together with Nuno’s signature flair.

After bursting onto the London food scene with her first pop-up on Commercial Street in 2020, to her unique Nyonya-style meal kits during lockdown, and later launching a market stall in Peckham, esteemed chef Abby Lee is now taking her modern Malaysian concept, Mambow, further east. Launched on 24th November, Mambow Clapton is Lee’s first permanent site; a bigger and more personal space that will allow the team to present a wider menu of regional Malaysian dishes, alongside her already popular cult-classics.

The adventure began in 2015 with Victor Lugger and Tigrane Seydoux, two French guys passionate about Italy and its welcoming vibe. They spent 2 years travelling across the boot sourcing the best products from Emilia to Puglia.

Since then, the crew has opened 22 trattorias in 5 countries and a 4,500 sqm food market - La Felicita in Paris, France. The two latest London openings, Jacuzzi on High Street Kensington and Carlotta on Marylebone Highstreet, have some of the group’s most impressive interiors and creative menus filled with seasonal produce and classic Italian recipes.

Big Mamma work directly with 170 producers in Italy and are constantly exploring new facets of Italian cooking from pizzas to Italian meats. Each trattoria has its own vibe, and everything is homemade: from the pasta fresca, to the fluffy Neapolitan pizza, and creamy gelato. The mission of this passionate team? To offer delicious, authentic and generous Italian food at affordable prices, served with a smile.

The Culpeper Family Hospitality Group is a group of four pubs and restaurants across East and North London – The Culpeper near Spitalfields, The Buxton on Brick Lane, The Duke of Cambridge in Islington and The Green in Clerkenwell.

The group are on a simple mission to positively impact our world by using hospitality as a force for good – one day, one person, one pint, one (wine) glass, one meal, one smile, one building and rooftop at a time.

Since 2008 The Seahorse has been a place to gather for conversation and debate, and to enjoy the local seafood. Fresh fish, seasonal ingredients and a love of Italian cookery underpin everything here.

The Seahorse was built by family, and that family continues to grow in Dartmouth and in Italy. Founded by Mat Prowse and Mitch Tonks, the restaurant, bar and Seahorse events are now run by Mitch’s son Head Chef Ben Tonks, General Manager Bronte Story.

Scully was born in Malaysia and grew up in Sydney with a mother of Chinese/Indian descent and an Irish/Balinese father. His diverse cultural upbringing translates into his cooking, with dishes reflecting the Malaysian flavours of his childhood and culinary traditions from his diverse family heritage, all whilst harnessing sustainably locally sourced ingredients. The menu also explores various fermentation and preservation techniques and the new and inventive flavours that can be created with these processes.

Playfully named Fatt Pundit it’s a combination of the common Chinese surname ‘Fatt’ with the Indian word ‘Pundit’ (a scholar).

Keu Deli brings fresh and authentic Saigon street food to London via their delis in Soho, Shoreditch and The City.

Priding themselves in making London’s best Vietnamese Bánh Mì sandwiches, the iconic sandos are freshly prepared everyday with a range of exciting collabs and specials landing throughout the year. Authentic and fragrant, Keu also serves rice bowls, noodles and Pho.

Michelin-starred Claude Bosi and Lucy Bosi have opened the charming, neighboured French Bistro Josephine on Fulham Road, Inspired by and named after Claude's late grandmother. This is the couple's first venture and most personal project to date.

Claude will develop and oversee the menu, serving food his grandmother Josephine used to cook him. There is also French bistro classic, regional Lyonnaise specialities, daily plat du jour and set "menu des canut". Josephine’s wine offerings ties in with the classical French feel, by offering the typical Bouch on style meter wine, which allows guests to pay for what they drink and encourage them to try different wine.

Bringing a type of Portuguese cooking yet to be authentically explored in London, Casa do Frango will specialise in regional Algarvian-style piri piri chicken “frango”cooked over wood charcoal using traditional techniques. The grill will be overseen by experienced Algarvian pitmaster, Lucidio da Fonseca Monteiro, who has moved to London for the project. 

The wood fired grill will be the focus of the open plan kitchen. Alongside frango, the menu will showcase exceptional regional charcuterie, cheeses, seafood, salads and desserts. 

Launching in Horsforth, Leeds in February 2024, neighbourhood bistro Bavette is the first venture from ex-Culpeper Group MD & Head Chef Sandy Jarvis and his husband, Restaurant Manager & sommelier Clément Cousin, formerly of Brawn and The Buxton. A true collaboration between front-of-house and kitchen, Bavette is born out of the desire of its passionate and experienced co-founders to share their love of restaurants and create a relaxed, convivial bistro where food and wine are of equal measure.

Having opened in 1974, Sale e Pepe of Knightsbridge is a London institution welcoming generations of guests, ranging from British to Hollywood royalty, politicians, writers, singers, theatregoers, shoppers, and residents alike with a great atmosphere, familiar faces, and classic Italian hospitality. This elegant Italian restaurant has been a firm fixture on Pavilion Road for over 40 years gaining a loyal following with original owner Toni Corricelli. In 2022 Toni retired, passing on the baton to Markus Thesleff, who is leading the anniversary celebrations for Sale E Pepe’s 50th birthday refurbishment.

Acclaimed Portuguese chef Nuno Mendes has opened the doors to a neighbourhood restaurant and bar in Largo de São Domingos, the riverside, historic centre of Porto. The restaurant, Cozinha das Flores celebrates the food culture, wines, techniques, and ingredients of the North.

The adjacent 12-seat bar, Flôr, embraces a fun and contemporary take on Portugal’s global food culture, serving a light breakfast in the morning and a menu of inventive cocktails through day and night, with mixologist Tatiana Cardoso at the helm. Cozinha das Flores and Flôr form part of adjoining sister project, The Largo — 18 rooms across 5 heritage buildings — that will open later this year
